Default talktalk broadband and ubuntu - 05-08-08, 08:30 PM

We've recently transferred from bt to talktalk, and are finding it impossible to connect the pc to the internet using ubuntu (laptop connected ok, but runs windows). tech support no help whatsoever as they're "not trained in ubuntu". Could anyone give us any advice/help please? getting desperate now, and considering going back to BT!

thanks in advance.

Have you change your router/modem settings? You have to change the username & password to the one talktalk gave you.

Shouldn't matter what O/S you're running, all you need to do is update the username/password in your router to the one talktalk should have given you.
