Default Tag removal from the line issues - 03-04-08, 11:58 AM

Hi newbie here.... so hi to all

I have been with Eclipse Broadband for years....so i thought!!

however it now appears that my service provider is actually Tiscali. although my username has not changed from the Eclipse login info.

I have not been paying anyone for over a year and a bit now as i dont have a clue who should pay as noone wants to admit to owning my account.

I have been trying to go to Sky Broadband from my service provider however they say i need a mac code.

I called Eclipse, they say i am no longer with them so they cant do anything and i should call Tiscali. they say i have not got an account with them.

I called BT and they can't do anything either...

Can anyone advise me how the heck i can get the TAG removed from my line.

Cheers

Andy

Well chimp, unless you are getting slower than currently a 2mb 'Free' braodband service, I would stay there and make the most of it.

Be aware that by rocking the boat, you could end up with either or both companies billing you for the last year (Plus interest) as I am sure with Tiscali's reputation, your money and more is better in their pocket than yours.
