PAYG or contract? PAYG everytime. Only a fool would get contract mobile BB right now IMO.

Why? Because PAYG you're not stuck with a 12/18 month contract for something that simple does not work as advertised. At least with PAYG you can drop it anytime, and your only risk is the outlay for the modem.

Paying For The Modem Is Not Relli A Risk, Because Even If The Mobile Broadband Is Crap In Your Area, One Day It Will Be Good And Your Modem Will Come In Useful.

Im Sure That The Mobile Broadband Speed Will Be "Somewhat" Near To What They Adervitise Soon Enough, Like Everything Eventlly They Will Get It Right.

I Can See It Becoming VERY Popular Once The Speed Is Fast And The Connection Is Relible.

I went for Three PAYG as I won't use it regularly (no reception at home!) but only when I am away from home and on holiday. So far I have been relatively pleased as I have been able to send and recieve emails and photos both here and in Portugal although maybe my expectations are quite low. Also used it to look up weather forecast and set my PVR to record a programme whilst abroad. Only downside was the £3/MB cost which limits its use. Although I was in a remote village in Portugal I was still able to connect at a reasonable speed.

Yes, I do live in the UK about 12miles from Lincoln. I just live in one of those spots where the mobile coverage is intermittent at best from any of the mobile operators.

Im wont buy mobile broadband for where i live, whats the point if it wont work?
