Post Considering AOL as Broadband ISP - 12-06-08, 11:19 AM

Hi, I still have dial-up at home, which suffices for reading e-mail (I must have e-mail access 24/7 due to work) and the odd emergency at the weekend, otherwise I do everything in the office and get no hassles with that.

Anyway, I thought it was time to upgrade at home, and have been comparing BB & Phone bundles: Talk Talk seems the cheapest and Tiscali looks okay too, both these ISPs seem to get so much bad crit on various forums I am hesitant (as I said above having no connection would be a big problem).

Therefore, I have almost decided on AOL Flexi Broadband, 14.99/month including free UK landline calls, 10GB limit and free wireless router, and I am looking for any feedback?

Also, for 29.99 connection, I can avoid tying myself into a 12 month contract?

Any help/advice welcome.

Looks like a great deal for you

Only if you read & send emails, because of the 10GB download limit, if you do more than email, then you may want to change it so you have unlimited, but if you dont i wouold do this deal

Might be a good idea just incase your not happy with AOL, so you can change
