| Avoid BT at your peril. - 09-10-07, 02:39 PM I have had a bad experience with BT. The customer service is appalling and they tried to charge me £650 to get reconnected after my landlord got some cowboy builders in who cut the cable, didn't tell me about it, disappeared, even though BT are actually responsible for everything external to the house up to the point of telephone connection!?!?!?
Yes folks thats right £650 to connect a cable from a telegraph pole to my house, it took ten minuets and they tried to charge me for 2 hours work, that was the main cos apparently, all I can say is that I'm obviously in the wrong job if the going hourly rate is £325 per hour?!?!. Thanks
