Well WHEN i eventually get connected i will be pleased....
Currently with Virgin was Telewest....
Had good offer from Grandaughter who works for BT,
to have her complete setup. ie Broadband,BT vision, Phone. et al. for JUST £3.
But you need a Landline from BT,,, OK signed up for this on 25 June this year 2007. Understood would have to pay £149.50 which would include three months rental @£11 pm.
Line was checked by an Engineer and everything was OK. All he did was plugged MY phone into the old BT socket,and hey presto it worked.
I have last week contacted the same engineer (cos he gave me his mobile No.) I asked him WHEN can I expect to get on-line?
He said 2nd October was connection date. But I have heard NOTHING from BT whatsoever, except for the reminder to pay the next three months bill, for something i have not been able to use yet.
My e-mails are not answered, except for the automated reply (that they are busy with orders for Broadband).
This sounds just like what happened to Talk Talk when they offered the free broadband when you changed over to their Phone service.
I can't phone Bt cos I am not the person thats applying for the Service, but I am paying the Bill!
What the hell can I do next?
£182 pounds out of pocket for something I can't use yet.....
